Where a product is manufactured in France, we state this directly. We do not use terms such as “our factory” unless the facility is actually owned by OGINÉA, and we do not use broad expressions such as “pharmaceutical standard” in place of the actual manufacturing standard that applies.
Not every document tells you the same thing.
Quality documentation can relate to different stages of a product. We label documents accordingly so that it is clear what each one actually supports.

A raw-material report should not be interpreted as testing of the finished product unless the document specifically relates to the finished product.
Testing only becomes useful when you know the scope.
Testing only becomes useful information when you know what was tested, for which parameters, at which stage of production and, where relevant, which batch the result belongs to. That is why we prefer to show the scope of testing rather than rely on a general “lab tested” badge. When we publish testing information, we aim to make clear:
- What was tested?
- Was it an ingredient or the finished product?
- Which parameters were measured?
- Which batch does the report relate to?
- Which laboratory performed the analysis?
When an independent laboratory has performed a particular analysis, we state the scope of that analysis rather than using “independently tested” as a blanket claim for the entire range.
Every ingredient earns its place.
Quality starts before a product reaches the laboratory. It begins with deciding what belongs in the formula. We do not add ingredients simply to make a formula look longer or more impressive. Every ingredient should have a clear role, whether it contributes directly to the purpose of the formula or is genuinely needed for stability, solubility, texture, manufacturing, delivery or the experience of using the finished product. If an ingredient is there, we should be able to explain why.
No artificial colours
OGINÉA formulates without artificial colours across the range. Colours from natural sources may be considered where they serve a genuine purpose in the finished product.
No artificial preservatives
OGINÉA formulates without artificial preservatives across the range. Ingredients from natural sources that contribute to preservation may be considered where they are genuinely needed and appropriate for the product.
Product-specific formulation information
Other formulation choices depend on the product. Where relevant, individual product pages state whether a formula is made without artificial flavours, artificial sweeteners or other particular ingredients. We prefer product-specific information to broad promises that may not apply equally to every format we develop.

We do not expect customers to examine every specification, certificate or laboratory report behind an OGINÉA product. But when information matters, we want it to be possible to find and understand.
